Many Persona 5 players overlook Treasure Demons, but these unique Shadows can provide great fusion materialsmoney, and boosts to Persona stats. If you want to efficiently hunt and capture all Treasure Demons, this guide will show you the best strategies and locations to find them.

1. Crafting the Treasure Trap

Before you begin farming Treasure Demons, craft the Treasure Trap item.

  • While the description says it only works in Palaces, it has been tested and works in Mementos as well.
  • This will increase your chances of encountering Treasure Demons.
  • It’s best to farm Treasure Demons at the end of the game when all Mementos areas are unlocked.

2. Recommended Personas & Skills for Capturing Treasure Demons

Since most Treasure Demons are weak to Critical Hits, your best bet is to have a Persona with high Critical rate skills.

Best Skills for Farming Treasure Demons:

✅ Revolution (Increases Critical rate for both allies and enemies – useful since Treasure Demons don’t attack.) ✅ Lucky Punch / Miracle Punch (High Critical hit rate attacks) ✅ High Critical Rate Passive Skills ✅ Gun Attacks(Some Treasure Demons are weak to guns.) ✅ Curse Skills (For Stone of Scone, which is immune to Physical attacks)

Best Personas to Use:

  • Hanuman – Has Revolution (Seventh Palace)
  • Ame-no-Uzume – Early Lucky Punch option
  • Koppa Tengu – Good low-level option with Lucky Punch

If you want an extra boost, itemize Regent to get an accessory that increases Critical rate further.

3. Farming Locations for Each Treasure Demon

Regent (Weak to Physical/Critical)

  • Path of Aiyatsbus (Mementos)
  • Found in all areas of this path
  • Use Miracle Punch / Lucky Punch for an easy capture

Queen’s Necklace (Weak to Gun)

  • Path of Kaitul (Mementos)
  • Found in all areas
  • Simply use Gun attacks to down it

Stone of Scone (Weak to Curse, Resists Physical)

  • Path of Akzeriyyuth (Mementos)
  • Found in all areas
  • Use a Curse skill to knock it down (avoid using Mudo, as it might insta-kill instead of capturing)

Koh-i-Noor (Weak to Physical/Critical)

  • Path of Adyeshach (Mementos)
  • Found in all areas
  • Use Lucky Punch / Miracle Punch

Orlov (Weak to Physical/Critical)

  • Path of Sheriruth (Mementos, Areas 1-5)
  • Easily captured with Miracle Punch

Great Talisman, Hope Diamond & Crystal Skull (Weak to Physical/Critical)

  • Path of Sheriruth (Mementos, Areas 7-13)
  • Unlike earlier demons, these three appear randomly in all areas from Area 7 onward.
  • Hunting Strategy:
    1. Start at Area 7 and move between floors.
    2. If you don’t see one after a few fights, move up or down a floor.
    3. Some players find Hope Diamond takes longer to appear than the others.
    4. Crystal Skull might be the hardest to spawn – patience is required.

4. Fast Hunting Tips

✅ Use R1 to quickly move between floors once the exit has been revealed. ✅ Use only Morgana (Miracle Punch) and Joker to speed up battles. ✅ If Futaba’s Position Hack activates, you can instantly capture a Treasure Demon. ✅ If you have a high-ranked Tower Confidant, use the gun ability to down them quickly. ✅ Keep patience! Some Treasure Demons take longer to appear.

5. Why Capture Treasure Demons?

✔ Powerful fusion material – Boost Persona stats significantly. ✔ Great money source – Selling them can net you a lot of yen. ✔ Useful for itemization – Some become high-tier accessories or weapons. ✔ Boosts Persona Fusion results – Useful for getting stronger Personas.

Final Thoughts

Hunting Treasure Demons isn’t difficult, but it requires preparation and patience. By following this guide, you should be able to capture all Treasure Demons in a single Mementos run.

Happy hunting, Phantom Thieves!
