Deathloop is a complex and thrilling first-person shooter that blends time loops, stealth, and puzzle-solving. Throughout your journey, you’ll encounter numerous locked doors and safes, each requiring specific codes to access valuable loot and secrets. This guide will walk you through the locations of these codes and combinations, helping you navigate the challenges that Blackreef throws at you.
1. Tunnel Code
At the start of the game, you’ll eventually reach a house where the tunnel code becomes available. You’ll receive the code during your progression through the game, but if you want to speed things up, use the code 0451 to unlock a trophy for this classic door code Easter egg.
2. Colt’s Safe Code
Right at the start of the game, you’ll encounter Colt’s Safe. The code to open it is found in Fristad Rock at the AEON Security Office. Hack the door and look behind the desk for a note with the combination.
3. Updaam Smoking Competition Codes
In Updaam, you’ll find a three-lock door related to a smoking competition. You’ll need to gather codes from competitors by manipulating the machine during the competition:
- Vanya’s Code: Press the button once to make Vanya survive. Afterward, visit Vanya’s Restaurant in Karl’s Bay to find her code.
- Anatoly’s Code: Press the button twice to make Anatoly survive. His code can be found at his house in Karl’s Bay.
Once you have all three numbers, you can unlock the door, though the reward is minimal.
4. Delivery Booth Codes
Each level features a Delivery Booth, which can be activated once you find the code. To get started, head to Fia’s bunker in the Reactor Room. On a whiteboard in the room, you’ll find the necessary code to get the booths running. Once activated, you can order useful items such as a crank, battery, nullifier, or turret.
5. Updaam Gate Code
Outside the Updaam tunnel entrance, there’s a locked gate. To open it, hack a nearby phone booth, and the gate will unlock as the phone dials out.
6. Wengie Depressurization Control Code
When you meet Wengie during the early story, you’ll encounter the Depressurization Control in her Lab Annex. The code changes with each loop, so you’ll need to find it afresh each time. Look for it on the noticeboard in the lower level of the Lab Annex.
7. Library Safe Code
Located in Updaam Library at noon, the Library Safe can only be opened when you need it for a mission. The code is found in Aleksis’ room on a note about his AEON interview.
8. Queen of Riddles Safe Code at The Yerhva
While investigating Yerhva’s Queen of Riddles, you will find a safe. The code will appear when you’re tasked with locating a location through a photograph. Inside, you’ll find the combination you need.
9. Otto’s Workshop Container Crate
In Karl’s Bay, you’ll find a locked container crate. It opens in the evening, revealing a Trinket that allows you to hack and detonate mines. The full door code comes later in the story when you prevent Otto’s Workshop from burning down.
10. Maintenance Closet Code in Karl’s Bay
In Hangar 1 of Karl’s Bay, you’ll discover a Maintenance Closet. The code is in Hangar 2, opposite a hanging plane fuselage. You’ll need the gas immunity Trinket to access it.
11. Updaam Door with Microphone / RAK Facility Code
To open a microphone door in Updaam, you’ll need a spoken password, which can be found by reading a note in the Archive Office in the afternoon. This code opens the path to the RAK Facility.
12. Fristad Rock Doorbell Bunker Code
One of the more complex codes to obtain, this door is located near the Fristad Rock tunnels. To unlock it, head there in the afternoon when the tide is low, revealing a new path. Inside, you’ll find three locks and a note containing the first combination. Then, hack radios for additional codes, revealed in locations around Karl’s Bay and Updaam. Once all three codes are found, you’ll access valuable information, including Visionary details and secret weapons.
13. Complex Armory Code
In the Complex at noon, you’ll come across a locked armory. To open it, head near a circular vent, which requires a battery to open. A note inside will provide the Armory Code.
14. Mask Maker Amador Door Code
In Karl’s Bay, you’ll encounter a locked door in the Mask Shop. The key to this code lies in preventing Amador’s sacrifice during Harriet’s Morning ritual in Hangar 2. If Amador survives, he will be available to unlock the door later.
These are the key codes and combinations you’ll need to unlock various doors and safes in Deathloop. Each code is tied to specific actions, events, and locations within the game, and collecting them will reward you with important loot, story progress, and strategic advantages. Keep track of each one and experiment with different timelines to fully explore Blackreef!
