Restoring Power and Grabbing the Mallet

Since we left off with a power outage, we’ll begin in the electrical room. If the power ever shuts off in the house, simply flip the breaker switch here, and you’re good to go.

Next, we need to grab the mallet, which is crucial for breaking through obstacles. Head into the storage room, retrieve your mallet, and make sure to turn on the lights as you move through the dark areas. If you have an open inventory slot, grab the spare lighter you’ll find nearby—lighting up dark spaces is always a good idea.

Breaking the Mirror and Entering the Playground

With the mallet in hand, proceed up the stairs and locate the mirror. Smash through it, and you’ll find yourself transported to a rugged, abandoned playground. This is the starting point of your journey with the compass.

At this stage, you can drop your mallet if you wish, as you’ll be focusing on following the compass from here. However, don’t forget to pick it up again before returning to the house—you’ll need it later.

Using the Compass to Navigate the Graveyard

The compass now becomes your guiding tool. You’ll notice a red arrow on the compass—this points in the direction you need to go. Begin following it as it leads you through the area.

Step-by-Step Navigation:

1. Follow the compass arrow through the environment.
2. As the arrow directs you left, continue down the pathway.
3. You’ll eventually arrive at a graveyard—a key location for progressing in the game.

In the graveyard, you’ll find various interactive objects. If you see items like collectible flowers on benches, grab them as you go—they serve as markers to track your progress.

As you navigate, take the left path at every turn. You’ll know you’re on the right track when you spot additional flowers marking the way.

Interacting with the Baby Crib and the Hidden Box

Eventually, you’ll reach a small baby crib inside a grave—a haunting sight. Here’s what to do:

1. Click on the crib to remove the leaves covering it.
2. A box will be revealed underneath.
3. Interact with the box to collect its contents.

At this point, the compass has served its purpose. You can either drop it now or keep it until you return to the house.

Exiting the Graveyard and Reaching the Crypt

After retrieving the item from the crib, follow the nearby exit door to return to the starting point of the graveyard. This time, take the right path instead of the left.

Continue along this path until you arrive at the crypt. Here’s how to proceed:

1. Follow the pathway marked by the last flower indicator.
2. Enter the crypt door and navigate through a tunnel.
3. The tunnel might feel like it’s getting smaller, but keep moving forward.
4. Eventually, you’ll pass through another door—bringing you back to the house’s basement.

Now that you’re back in the house, there is only one more mirror left to break upstairs. But before heading there, make sure you pick up your mallet from where you left it—otherwise, you won’t be able to break through the last mirror.
