The Ox Clan is an economy-focused clan that requires strong support from its team. While its early-game impact is minimal, it becomes one of the most powerful military clans in the late game. However, due to its reliance on being fed resources and cleared of neutral threats, it is best suited for team play rather than free-for-all (FFA) or duels.

Clan Overview

  • Unique Warchief: Torfin – Can find and equip Ancestral Equipment.
  • Stronger Units – All units have 15% bonus attack power and defense.
  • Efficient Economy – Specialized workers have a 40% production bonus.
  • Limited Building Capacity – Each building holds only one worker.
  • Smaller Population Growth – Houses provide only four population instead of five.
  • Starting Bonus – Begin with Torfin’s Throne, producing +2 lore until Torfin is summoned.

Fame Bonuses

  • 200 Fame: Military Pressure – All non-villager unit production benefits from a bonus, increasing as more military units are controlled.
  • 500 Fame: The True Hero – Unlocks Torfin’s charge ability, instantly destroying enemy buildings and fearing enemy units.

Relic: Aegir’s Judgment

  • Allows Torfin to use Provocation, forcing all enemy units and towers to attack him while boosting his defense by 100% for six seconds.
  • This ability can break enemy defenses and win battles instantly.

Build Orders

There are four major build orders for the Ox Clan, depending on the game mode and strategy.

  3. Executing the Attack

Additional Tips

  • Torfin’s Charge – Use his ability to destroy upgraded towers instantly.
  • Army Composition – Aim for a mix of warriors and upgraded units for maximum efficiency.
  • Micro-Management – Avoid unnecessary fights in winter due to Ox’s lack of fur coats or recruitment bonuses.
  • Scout for Dwarves Early – Their bonuses significantly enhance Ox’s economy.

Conclusion

The Ox Clan thrives in team games where allies can provide support and keep it safe during the early game. Its late-game military power is nearly unmatched, making it a dominant force when played correctly. Whether aiming for a traditional 802 build, an FFA economic strategy, a dwarf-friendly setup, or an aggressive 801 rush, Ox offers a variety of playstyles to master.
