The Like a Millionaire trophy/achievement requires you to have 50 students drop out due to low happiness. However, simply deleting everything on your campus can cause bankruptcy before reaching the required number of dropouts. Instead, follow this method to efficiently trigger dropouts while keeping your finances stable.
Step 1: Remove Heating and Cooling Elements
- Delete all heaters (on colder campuses) and air conditioning units (on hotter campuses).
- Don’t forget outdoor heaters—these are placed before you arrive and must also be removed.
- Without temperature control, students will quickly become unhappy.
Step 2: Disable Essential Services
- Close the following rooms:
- Student Lounge
- Student Union
- Medical Room
- Pastoral Care
- Private Tuition
- This prevents students from recovering from stress, illness, and mental health issues, further lowering their happiness.
Step 3: Remove Food, Drink, and Entertainment
- Delete all vending machines (both food and drink).
- Remove all entertainment items, including arcade machines, bookcases, and crazy taxi machines.
- Without access to these, students will struggle with hunger, thirst, and entertainment needs.
Step 4: Remove Relationship and Club Items
- Delete all relationship items, such as:
- Benches
- Love Trumpets
- Friendship Benches
- Social Tables
- Remove all club items, including:
- Power Nap Clubs (to prevent them from recovering energy)
- Speed Walking Clubs
- This prevents students from forming friendships, reducing their social happiness and making them more likely to leave.
Step 5: Fire All Janitors
- Janitors keep the campus clean, and without them:
- Litter builds up, creating an unhygienic environment.
- Students will be disgusted and frustrated, further lowering their happiness.
- Go to the staff menu and fire all janitors.
Step 6: Increase Tuition Fees
- Raise tuition fees to the maximum in the Course Management menu.
- This causes students to feel that they are being overcharged, which lowers their happiness even more.
- However, you’ll still generate income for as long as students remain enrolled.
Step 7: Reject All Student Requests
- Let student requests pile up before rejecting them.
- This will annoy multiple students at once, increasing dropout rates.
- Reject requests for:
- Events (Student Lounge Parties, Concerts, etc.)
- New facilities
- Additional entertainment items
- Wait until multiple students request the same thing, then reject it to maximize the impact.
Step 8: Fast Forward and Monitor Dropouts
- Speed up time and check dropout numbers in the Campus Overview > Student Overview menu.
- Students drop out gradually, so continue rejecting requests and ensuring unhappiness levels remain high.
Estimated Time to Earn the Trophy
- 2 to 2.5 years in-game if done efficiently.
- Keep an eye on your finances, but since you aren’t deleting buildings, you should be able to sustain this method.
Achievement Unlock
- Once 50 students drop out, the Like a Millionaire achievement/trophy will unlock.
This method ensures you maximize dropout rates without losing all your money or going bankrupt. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Happy achievement hunting! 🎮
