SCP: Secret Laboratory is a chaotic and unpredictable multiplayer game. While most guides focus on ethical gameplay, this guide will provide you with some unethical but useful tactics that might just give you an edge—or get you banned. Use at your own risk!

1. Using Disarm to Create Meat Shields

  • Holding ‘E’ on a player will disarm them, forcing them to drop all items and preventing them from interacting with anything.
  • This makes them an excellent human shield against SCPs.
  • If you’re feeling particularly evil, close doors behind them and leave them to their fate.

2. Item Dropping to Bait SCP-939

  • SCP-939 can hear dropped items.
  • If a friend is nearby, toss them an item to bait 939 towards them.
  • Works best in tight corridors where escape is difficult.

3. Playing Music as SCP-079 to Annoy Generator Campers

  • SCP-079 can play sounds over intercoms.
  • Spam the most annoying sounds possible when someone is camping your generator to make them miserable.
  • If you don’t have a soundboard, just scream into your mic.

4. Unlimited Pink Candy Speed Boost

  • Some servers disable Pink Candy, but you can bypass this by:
    • Drinking a normal Cola first, then a Pink Candy.
    • This grants the same speed boost without needing Pink Candy alone.
  • Perfect for escaping or trolling.

5. SCP-939’s Mimicry to Trick Players

  • Use SCP-106’s walking sound effect to make survivors think 106 is coming.
  • They will panic and open the door for you.
  • Works well in small rooms where people don’t have time to react.

6. SCP-244 (Ice Fog Jar) to Slowly Kill Trapped SCPs

  • If you trap an SCP in a room, place an SCP-244 (Ice Fog Jar) outside the door.
  • The slow damage over time will kill them while they remain trapped.
  • Especially effective against SCP-173 and SCP-049.

7. Using the Ghost Light to Kill “Friendly” Players

  • Ghost Light is a great tool for sabotage:
    • Lock teammates inside dark rooms with SCPs.
    • Manually trigger Tesla Gates to fry someone.
  • Warning: Most servers will ban you for this!

8. Impersonating MTF Over the Radio

  • If you find an MTF radio as a Class-D or Chaos Insurgentpretend to be an MTF member.
  • Ask questions like:
    • “Where are you guys located?”
    • “Do we have any SCP sightings?”
  • Free intel on enemy movements!

Counterplay: If you’re an actual MTF, ask for their squad name—they won’t know it!

9. Zombies Can Reveal Player Locations

  • SCP-049-2 (Zombies) retain knowledge from their spectator view before revival.
  • Before reanimating them, ask for enemy locations.
  • Can give you vital information on last survivors.

10. Farming XP with Tesla Gates

  • Killing zombies in Tesla Gates gives XP.
  • If a zombie doesn’t want to play, you can use this repeatedly to farm XP.
  • SCP-049 can keep reviving them for an infinite XP loop (until they refuse revival).

Final Thoughts

These unethical tactics can be incredibly useful in SCP: Secret Laboratory, but many servers have rules against them. Use them wisely, and don’t be surprised if you get kicked or banned!
