Thanks to the 1.0 update, this Artifact can now be fully formed, provided you collect all seven pieces scattered across the island. How to Obtain the Artifact

Before you begin searching for the pieces, note that you must complete the game and choose to stay on the island to fully assemble the Artifact. If you haven’t finished the game yet, do so first.

Artifact Piece Locations

1. Rebreather Cave (First Artifact Piece)

• Location: Inside the same cave where the Rebreather is found.
• Navigating the Cave:
  1. Enter the cave (marked on GPS) and loot supplies.
  2. Follow the path left of the laptop at the entrance.
  3. Make a right turn at the first fork.
  4. Break down a set of wooden planks and descend a long rope.
  5. Keep moving until you reach a room with hanging skeletons—your first piece is here.

💡 Pro Tip: Grab the Rebreather while you’re here, as it will be useful for later pieces.

2. Rope Gun Cave (Second Artifact Piece)

• Location: The same cave where the Rope Gun is found.
• Navigating the Cave:
  1. From the Rebreather Cave, head northeast to the cave entrance.
  2. Enter and move towards the torch on the ground.
  3. Take the right path and follow the stream into a large cavern.
  4. Defeat or avoid the mutants in this area.
  5. Locate the hanging skeletons, descend the rope, and break through another wooden barrier to find Artifact Piece #2.

💡 Tip: You don’t need the Rebreather here, but it helps for orientation underwater.

3. Pickaxe Cave (Third Artifact Piece)

• Location: Inside the same cave where the Pickaxe is located.
• Navigating the Cave:
  1. Follow the waterline from the Rebreather Cave toward the snowy mountains.
  2. Descend into the cave via a rope hanging beneath a rock face.
  3. Move opposite the climbing rope, head straight, and take a sharp right.
  4. Carefully descend using the safe waterfall path on the right.
  5. Swim underwater through a tunnel and emerge at a boarded-up entrance.
  6. Continue through this path, passing more hanging crosses, until you find Artifact Piece #3.

💡 Caution: This cave is maze-like with ledges that can lead to fatal falls—move carefully.

4. Golden Armor Cave (Fourth Artifact Piece)

• Location: Found at the exit of the Golden Armor Cave.
• Navigating the Cave:
  1. Enter the cave from the southern side of the island.
  2. Spot the skeleton sitting on a chair at the entrance.
  3. Jump into the small pool of water nearby.
  4. Follow the left path, breaking down wooden barriers.
  5. Continue through the golden hallway and climb the rocky pathway to retrieve Artifact Piece #4.

5. Underground Bunker (Fifth Artifact Piece)

• Location: Beneath a boarded-up building.
• Navigating the Cave:
  1. Break down the wooden doors to access the cave entrance.
  2. Descend into the basement and head straight.
  3. Break more boards and climb down the rope.
  4. Swim out and take a 180-degree turn.
  5. Break another wooden door and reach Artifact Piece #5 inside a golden chamber.

6. Crashed Spaceship Cave (Sixth Artifact Piece)

• Location: Inside a crashed spaceship.
• Navigating the Cave:
  1. Follow the blue crackling lightning lights from the sky (visible after completing the game).
  2. Descend a rope into the cave and follow the glowing golden tunnels.
  3. Navigate through water sections and wooden barriers.
  4. Reach the cockpit of the spaceship and retrieve Artifact Piece #6.

7. Blue Lightning Crack Cave (Final Artifact Piece)

• Location: Marked by blue crackling energy emerging from the ground.
• Navigating the Cave:
  1. Locate the huge hole in the earth where the blue energy is emerging.
  2. Take the rope all the way down.
  3. Follow the winding path until reaching the source of the blue lightning.
  4. Collect Artifact Piece #7.

How to Assemble the Artifact

Once you have collected all seven pieces, assembling the Artifact is simple:

1. Open your inventory.
2. Place all seven pieces in the crafting area.
3. Select the gear icon to assemble the Artifact.

Artifact Abilities

Once crafted, the Artifact has three major functions, each powered by Sulfy energy:

1. Enemy Repellent – Works similarly to the Cross, warding off mutants and cannibals.
2. Gold Transmutation – Can turn furniture and objects into gold by interacting with them.
3. Teleportation – Allows fast travel between Telepads (requires the Telepad Blueprint).
