Welcome to the complete walkthrough for the “Best Layered Plans” level in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. This guide will walk you through how to unlock all three challenges, collect all five minikits, and secure all available Kyber Bricks to complete the mission 100%.

Challenge 1: “Your Weapon, You Will Not Need It” (Avoid Detection)
To unlock this challenge, you must reach the upper floor without being detected. This can be achieved by sneaking your way up or creating the hilarious Darth Vader puppet in the security camera room. If you choose the puppet route, take the lift up afterward, and you’ll find one of the minikits along the path. Either method will fulfill the challenge.

Challenge 2: “Mine Trick” – Disrupt Communications
For this challenge, use a Scoundrel class character — Chewbacca works perfectly here. Go into the communication room and destroy all the desks. This disruption will block the Empire’s communication lines and complete the second challenge.

Challenge 3: Complete the Stud Meter
As always, collect as many studs as possible during the mission to fill all three bars on the Stud Meter. Doing so will earn you three Kyber Bricks. Make sure to smash everything in sight and complete side objectives along the way for bonus studs.

Minikit 1: Darth Puppet Route
If you use the Darth Vader puppet method to avoid detection, you’ll find the first minikit just down the path you head into after taking the lift up.

Minikit 2: Mouse Droid Hunt Begins
Take the alternative route by switching to a Hero type and using a grapple to reach the second floor. Up here, destroy a mouse droid — the first of three needed for another minikit.

Minikit 3: Platform Leap
After using the lift to reach the next level, climb the ladders and navigate the catwalks to a distant platform. Carefully drop down to where the minikit is located, collect it, then climb back up using the ladders.

Minikit 4: Break the Door, Zip the Line
On the upper floor, switch to Chewbacca and shoot the top-heavy, wobbling machine to bring it crashing down. This destroys the door, opening a path forward. Inside, pull the lever to tighten the zipline. Cross it and defeat a few enemies, then use the keypad on the right to open the door and collect a keycard on the bench. Use the keycard on the nearby door to find an energy supply. Carry it out and insert it into a power station in the hallway — this triggers another cutscene and unlocks another minikit.

Minikit 5: Final Mouse Droid and Bonus Room
Near the previous location, use a Hero or droid to bring down a door. Inside, smash the LEGO pieces and build another minikit. Before leaving, find and destroy the third and final mouse droid for yet another minikit. This concludes the mouse droid hunt and nets you the last collectible.
