Boost Your XP Gains
- XP Incentive Full-Course Bonus (Essential):
- This is the only XP-boosting ability in KH3.
- Obtained through the food system by eating a full five-course meal.
- The XP Incentive bonus appears randomly from a table of abilities, depending on how many plus meals you include.
- You need at least 3 + meals to unlock the chance for XP Incentive.
- Stick to exactly 3 + meals for the highest chance (more than that dilutes the pool).
- Once it appears, save it to Favorites for easy access later.
- Ultima Weapon (Highly Recommended but Optional):
- Specifically its Shotlock, Infinity Circle, acts as a devastating AOE nuke.
- Two well-placed Shotlocks can often wipe the entire battlegate.
- Follow up with Thundaza for any stragglers.
- Ethers:
- Equip Ethers for fast MP recovery and uninterrupted Thunder spam.
Execution
- Enter Battlegate 1.
- Open with Infinity Circle Shotlock.
- Clean up with Thundaza.

- Requires perfect timing: Cast Thundaza and Aeroza at the exact moment the Neo Shadows spawn.
- Can cause the spawn system to bug out and spawn way more Neo Shadows, leading to a massive XP surge.
- It’s still functional on current game versions, but extremely hard to pull off.
Pros:
- Faster than Battlegates (when optimized).
- Infinite enemies.
- Safe and self-contained grind zone.
- You can reach Level 99 before beating the game.
Cons:
- Missable: This spot is only available during a small window in the story.
- Can’t return once you move on.
