This guide covers everything you need to know about weapons in Blue Protocol, including how to obtain them, craft them, understand attributes and bonuses, and what makes a weapon truly good.

How to Obtain Weapons:

  • The primary way to get weapons is through Adventure Pods.
  • Some Adventure Pods reward you with weapon blueprints, which are needed to craft specific weapons.
  • These pods can be obtained from other adventure pods, story quests, and various missions.

Crafting Weapons:

  1. Once you receive a weapon blueprint, go to the crafting station in town.
  2. You can then craft any of the five weapon types using shared materials.
  3. Weapons crafted will have:
    • An elemental attribute (e.g. lightning, fire)
    • random number of sockets (1 to 4)
    • random special bonus from a preset pool

Weapon Attributes Explained:

  • A weapon’s attribute (e.g. fire, lightning) converts normal attacks into that element.
  • Elemental skills that match the weapon’s attribute get a damage boost.
  • Skills without an attribute take on the weapon’s element when used.

Sockets and Ability Plugs:

  • Weapons have between 1 and 4 sockets, determined randomly when crafted.
  • More sockets = more Ability Plugs can be added (which power up your weapon).
  • The higher the socket count, the lower the chance of obtaining that weapon.
  • Every weapon will guaranteed have at least 1 socket.

Special Bonuses:

  • Each weapon has a chance to roll a special bonus upon crafting.
  • Bonuses may include: Goblin KillerBeast KillerMovement Speed Boost, etc.
  • Bonuses have rarity levels:
    • Normal success: 5% to 8%
    • Great success: 11% to 13%
  • Your chance of getting a specific bonus is defined by its percentage in the crafting list.

Improving Your Odds:

  • You can use crafting tickets to increase your chances of rolling high-socket weapons or preferred bonuses.
  • These systems become more important when min-maxing in late game.

Beginner Advice:

  • Don’t worry too much about sockets or bonuses early on.
  • Just use the highest-level weapon available to you.
  • Focus on attributes and matching them to your skill loadout for bonus damage.

Summary: What Makes a Good Weapon?

  • High socket count (preferably 3 or 4)
  • Strong special bonus with a high percentage
  • Matching attribute to your main skill set

Whether you’re just starting or trying to optimize your build for late game, understanding weapon mechanics will be key to your success in Blue Protocol.
