Welcome to the easiest and most efficient method for farming Glittermoths, Scripts, and Pippis in Biomutant! This guide will help you quickly rack up what you need for trophies and collectibles, especially useful toward the end of the game.
Where to Go
There are two great fast travel locations for Glittermoth farming:
- Meteo
- Cam (tent camp near the Glittermoth Cave)
Both of these spots have bonfires, which let you sleep to change the time of day. While Glittermoths and the other critters appear more during the day, they can also show up at night. Still, daytime gives the best results.
When to Farm
- Ideal Time: Daytime (use bonfires to rest until dawn).
- Best Time to Visit: Toward the end of your playthrough, once you’ve naturally encountered as many as possible. Use this farming method to finish off whatever you still need.
What You Can Find
In and around the Glittermoth Cave, you can collect:
- Glittermoths (required for one of the collectibles trophies)
- Scripts
- Pippis
TIP: You get 5 Glittermoths automatically just by doing the side quest that unlocks the cave area.
Farming Route
- Fast travel to the southern entrance of the cave.
- Head up the slope to the cave’s entrance.
- Look for Glittermoths near the entrance and the cave’s far end.
- Exit the cave, fast travel to the nearby tent camp, and rest until dawn.
- Return to the cave using this shortcut:
- Double-jump and glide (hold X) across gaps.
- Take the path to the right side of the tent camp.
- Jump up ledges to return to the cave entrance easily.
- Repeat the process.
Extra Tips
- Don’t come too early in the game. Let natural progression get you most of these.
- Use this cave farming method to finish off only what you still need.
- Make sure you have your glider (it makes traversing this route much faster).
- Collect any loot at the tent camp if it’s your first visit.
