As of build 0.5.3, Zero Sievert features a growing number of keys used to unlock loot-rich areas, boss rooms, and quest locations. Whether you’re hunting safes, filing cabinets, or exclusive storage rooms, knowing what each key unlocks (and where to find it) is essential for efficient looting.
This guide details every current key, grouped by map, with loot breakdowns and tips for each location. Be aware: Zero Sievert is still in Early Access, so future updates may change key spawns or room contents.

Final Thoughts
Keys in Zero Sievert are often single-use, RNG-gated, or tied to quests and bosses. Learning where to find them and what they unlock will let you optimize your loot runs and increase your survivability by avoiding unnecessary backtracking or traps.
✅ Tip: Always bring NVGs or a flashlight for labs, factories, and basements.
Some keys are absolutely worth farming—like Kiba’s Gun Store key or the Lab Storage key—while others (like Mr. Junk’s) may be more situational.
As development continues and more keys are introduced, stay alert for updates—and always keep a safe stash for your high-value keys.
Good hunting!
