This mission, “Keys Tools” (or however it’s pronounced), is a satisfying and creatively open-ended heist with six total targets: four primary and two secondary. The goal is to collect all targets and escape within the alarm time. This guide explains an optimized route that’s reliable and efficient.
Preparation & Route Planning:
- Starting Point: Begin at the Super Grinder 2XL.
- Target Order:
- Super Grinder 2XL pickup
- Drop through the floor to the container in the lower level
- Blow through the wall into the next container (modified to be pulled forward)
- Drop down again to a side room with a container
- Up the ramp to a high platform container (pulled down via cables)
- Hidden path to parking garage container and then escape
Key Setup Details:
- First Target (Grinder 2XL):
- Easy grab.
- Create a drop hole to fall directly to the next level.
- Second Target (Lower Level):
- Pull the container slightly forward.
- Drop onto it from the hole above.
- Third Target (Across Walkway):
- Blow up the wall to access it.
- Walk over and grab the container.
- Use slight terrain smoothing to avoid tripping.
- Fourth Target (Hidden Wall Route):
- Blow open the left side wall.
- Use a previously hidden route to drop into a central room.
- Remove all central furniture for smoother navigation.
- Slightly reposition container to face entrance.
- Fifth Target (High Container):
- Cable down from the ceiling and drop it gently.
- Optional: use crane or planks as makeshift ramp.
- Sixth Target (Parking Garage):
- Shoot open the hidden wooden wall.
- Drop down through hidden corridor.
- Gently pull the container into position.
Final Run:
- Quick save at the start.
- Grab Target 1 and drop through to 2.
- Hop across to Target 3.
- Go up the ramp, through the modified entrance to Target 4.
- Double back up the stairs (optionally cleaned with planks).
- Sprint into the hidden corridor, drop into parking garage, grab Target 6.
- Exit via front or modified garage door.
Notes:
- The route includes some destructible wall optimization.
- Use spray paint to mark landings.
- Avoid explosive barrels unless clearing space.
- The crate near the end is fragile and may snap if moved too far. Handle with care.
- Add extra planks on stairwells for smoother movement.
Outcome:
- The route is consistently doable with about 7 seconds to spare.
- Total build and test time: ~20-30 minutes.
With precise planking and wall edits, this mission becomes one of the more enjoyable and dynamic heist runs in Teardown Part 2.
