Hey everyone, it’s Ali here, and today we’re diving into The Escapists 2 with a complete guide to all three escape routes available in Centre Perks 2.0. Whether you’re playing solo or with friends, this classic starting prison has plenty of ways to break free. I’ll be covering each method, what you need, and how to pull them off—including one that lets you escape in just a single day. Let’s get started!

1. Perimeter Breakout – The Fastest Solo or Co-op Escape

The perimeter breakout is one of the most straightforward and flexible escapes in Centre Perks 2.0. It works in both single-player and multiplayer and can be completed in just one in-game day with proper planning.

What You’ll Need:

  • Flimsy Cutters (crafted with 2 Files + 1 Duct Tape)
  • Bed Dummy (crafted with 2 Pillows + 1 Bedsheet)

How to Get the Materials:

  • Files and Duct Tape: Found in inmates’ desks (search early!)
  • Pillows and Bedsheets: Taken directly from any inmate’s bed

Step-by-Step:

  1. Craft your cutters and bed dummy before the day ends.
  2. Wait until 21:00 hours (9:00 PM), then place the bed dummy in your bed.
  3. Head to the area where roll call happens—make sure to be counted.
  4. Once roll call starts, run to the entertainment center in the bottom-right corner of the prison. Enter through the purple door before it locks.
  5. Hide behind the closest building and wait until 02:00.
  6. Use your cutters on the fence, and you’re out.

Tips: Time is tight—if you miss the purple door before it locks, you’ll have to try again the next night. Make sure you’re quick and efficient.

2. Meet the Crew – The Civilian Disguise Escape (Single-Player Only)

This escape is more thematic and stylish, but it only works in single-player mode. It revolves around blending in rather than breaking out by force.

What You’ll Need:

  • Civilian Outfit (found in a chest on the north side of the 2nd floor)
  • Fake Audio Equipment (crafted with: Radio Receiver + Duct Tape + Broom)
  • 50 Intellect

Where to Find Items:

  • The Radio Receiver and the Civilian Outfit are found in the same chest on the second floor.
  • Duct Tape and Broom are common and can be found in desks.

Step-by-Step:

  1. Gather all components and boost your intellect to 50 at the library.
  2. Craft the fake audio equipment.
  3. Put on the civilian outfit.
  4. Go to the top-right area of the first floor and enter the check-in center.
  5. Walk to the left side of the building and proceed through the final checkpoint to escape.

Tips: You’ll look like a crew member doing a media segment—guards won’t suspect a thing. Make sure you have everything before approaching the escape zone.

3. The Last Post – Crate Shipping Escape (Multiplayer Only)

The third and most complex escape is a co-op mission that requires coordination with at least one other player. It involves building a shipping crate and mailing yourself out.

What You’ll Need:

  • Crate Top (crafted with: Hammer + Nails + Timber)
  • Crate Base (crafted with: 2 Timber + Nails)
  • Bracket (must be bought from an inmate)
  • Postal Address (spawns randomly in one desk in the prison)
  • 50 Intellect

Important Notes:

  • All materials except the bracket can be found in desks.
  • The bracket is only available via inmate trading—complete favors or get a job to earn money.

Step-by-Step:

  1. Gather all components and increase your intellect to 50.
  2. Craft both the crate base and the crate top.
  3. Locate the Postal Address (may take some searching).
  4. On the first floor, head to the room on the right side of the building.
  5. One player must hold open the door so the other can enter.
  6. Inside, push the button to let your teammate in.
  7. Assemble the crate, place the Postal Address, and escape.

Tips: Communication and timing are everything here. Prepare all parts before entering the escape room to avoid getting locked out.

Final Thoughts

Each method offers a different flavor of gameplay. If you want speed and simplicity, go for the perimeter breakout. If you’re playing solo and enjoy the narrative touch, try Meet the Crew. And if you’re teamed up and want something more elaborate, The Last Post gives a fun co-op challenge.

Hopefully, this guide helps you bust out of Centre Perks 2.0 no matter how you play. Good luck escaping!
