Netr Cels are one of Warframe’s newest and most efficient weekly activities, especially if you’re looking to farm melee arcanes, Archon shards, and valuable endgame resources. Available up to five times per week, Netr Cels are accessed through the Sanctum Anatomica or Damos hub by speaking to Tagur. Here’s how to run these missions smoothly and maximize your rewards.

Why Run Netr Cels?

Netr Cels are the only source for the legendary melee arcanes: Melee Duplicate and Melee Crescendo. While Two-Forged Archon Shards can also drop, they are extremely rare. You can also obtain:

  • Melee Arcane Adapters
  • Normal Archon Shards
  • In-Lanthorns (guaranteed)

Mission Restrictions and Preparation

Netr Cels are challenging due to the following modifiers:

  • No respawns: Downed players can only be revived by others.
  • Disabled consumables and summons: Gear cooldowns are increased, and support tools are limited.
  • Empowered enemies: Enemies have more shields, health, and damage.

To access Netr Cels, complete the Whispers in the Walls quest.

How the Mission Works (Step-by-Step)

Phase 1: Collecting Glyph Keys

The mission starts with players locating four glyph keys:

  • Void Burst
  • Vampiric
  • Sanguine
  • Exhaustion

Only one matching key is required to unlock the vault. While one player can collect all glyphs, it’s safer for multiple players to do so in case of disconnections. After collecting the keys, use the white objective waypoints to pinpoint the Netr vault location.

Phase 2: Unlocking the Vault

Once the vault is found, only a player with the correct glyph can activate it. After activation, the mission turns into a zone-based enemy extermination.

Phase 3: Elimination and Necrite Interruption

Inside the red zone:

  • Kill enemies within the area to lower the alert level.
  • Occasionally, a Necrite will spawn—track it by its glowing purple light and distinct Squidward-like sound. Kill two per mission to progress.

Focus your kills within the zone boundaries. Enemies killed outside do not count toward objective progress.

Phase 4: Loot Cleanup and Extraction

Once alert level reaches zero:

  • Loot the chamber, destroy containers, and collect resources like Obscura and In-Lanthorns.
  • Look for hidden items and crates; loot distribution is solid.

You’ll always get at least one In-Lanthorn. High-value rewards include melee Arcane Adapters and rare arcanes.

Common Bugs and Tips

  • Necrites may bug out or hide in ceilings. Listen for sound cues.
  • Host migrations can break mission progress. Run solo or with stable connections.
  • Focus kills in the zone—this is the biggest cause of failed runs.
  • Loot the purple chamber (pinged) before extracting.

Rewards Overview

  • Guaranteed: In-Lanthorn
  • Common: Melee Arcane Adapter
  • Uncommon: Normal Archon Shard
  • Rare: Melee Crescendo, Melee Duplicate, Two-Forged Archon Shard

Farming tip: Even if you fail the mission, as of the latest testing, you may not lose your weekly Netr attempt—but this may vary with updates.

Summary

Netr Cels offer a high-reward, short-duration mission perfect for late-game players. Focus on:

  • Efficient glyph collection
  • Staying alive
  • Grouping kills inside the zone
  • Looting thoroughly before extraction

This mission type is ideal for farming arcanes, getting rare resources, and pushing progression in Warframe’s endgame.
