The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe is as much about narrative chaos as it is about subtle meta-commentary—and that extends to its achievements. If you’re aiming for 100% completion, you’re in for an experience that’s part game, part long-term life plan. This guide covers every unlockable achievement in the game, including how to fix the broken one and how to prepare for the infamous 10-year achievement.

“Super Go Outside” – The 10-Year Achievement

Let’s start with the infamous achievement: Don’t play the game for 10 years.

  • Achievement: “Super Go Outside”
  • How to Get It: You must avoid launching the game for 10 real-world years.
  • Legit Tip: Set a reminder for a decade from now. It’s that simple (and absurd).
  • Cheesy Shortcut: You could technically change your system clock—but that defeats the point. This guide recommends doing it legitimately.

While that’s simmering for the next decade, let’s collect the other achievements.

Core Achievements You Can Get Now

1. Get Your First Achievement

  • Automatically unlocks when you earn any other achievement.

2. You Can’t Jump

  • Repeatedly press the jump key (Spacebar by default). That’s it.

3. Click on Door 430 Five Times

  • Start clicking door 430. The narrator will pull you into a longer process that includes clicking multiple doors and objects. Follow his instructions until it finally unlocks.

4. 88888888

  • In the boss’s office, when prompted to enter a code, press the number 8 repeatedly instead. Eventually, the achievement will pop.

5. Beat the Game

  • Simply follow all of the narrator’s directions and reach the ending where Stanley walks out into freedom.

6. Welcome Back

  • Quit the game and relaunch it.

7. Settings World Champion

  • Go into the settings menu and adjust every slider to all available values.
    • Important: Use arrow keys or controller D-pad to ensure every number is hit—mouse dragging can skip values.
    • Be sure to toggle all checkboxes, as some reveal extra sub-options you’ll need to adjust as well.

“Speed Run” Achievement

  • Goal: Complete the game in under 4 minutes 22 seconds (not including load screens).
  • Prep Steps:
    • Run the game multiple times and enter the code “2845” into the keypad in the boss’s office before the narrator tells you to.
    • After a few runs, he’ll get annoyed and eventually skip the code entirely for you.
  • Run Execution:
    • At the start, follow a direct route through the doors and use a couple of shortcuts, such as climbing up on desks to reach platforms faster.
    • Complete the game like in the “Beat the Game” route.

“Test Achievement Please Ignore” – The Broken But Fixable One

To unlock this:

  1. Start running through different endings to eventually trigger the mysterious “New Content” door.
  2. Enter the New Content area and follow the narrative. It’s mostly commentary until you reach a segment where you get a fake achievement booth.
  3. The lever won’t work yet, so continue through the storyline.
  4. In future runs, the “New Content” door will evolve into the “New New Content” section—a parody expo.
  5. At the Stanley Parable 2 convention, visit the Free Achievement booth.
    • Still broken—but necessary to trigger the achievement process.

Stanley Figurines

You now begin a series of figurine hunts. Locations:

  • 1: From the expo itself.
  • 2: Warehouse – cross the box bridge.
  • 3: Beneath the staircase to the boss’s office.
  • 4: Past the red/blue doors – jump off the lift.
  • 5: Inside the boss’s secret hallway.
  • 6: Executive bathroom left of the boss’s stairs.

After collecting all six:

  • The narrator celebrates and takes you to the Memory Zone to relive the journey.
  • Eventually, restart the game multiple times until the “Settings Person” stops talking.
  • Then, you’ll see a new Epilogue option in the main menu.

Epilogue and Fixing the Machine

  • Inside the epilogue: Wait in the desert → go back to the Memory Zone → talk with the Settings Person.
  • You’ll “upgrade the game’s version,” and this fixes the broken achievement booth.
  • Start a new run, go into New New Content, and finally unlock “Test Achievement Please Ignore” by pulling the lever again.

“Commitment” – The Tuesday Marathon

  • Goal: Play the game for an entire Tuesday.
  • How to Do It:
    • Launch the game before midnight on Monday.
    • Leave it open (in a small window if needed) for the full duration of Tuesday.
    • Let it idle—no need to interact.
    • Once Wednesday hits, the achievement will pop.

Final Thoughts

That wraps up every achievement currently available in The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe—with the exception of the 10-year achievement that will reward your patience a decade from now. The game turns achievement-hunting into a blend of meta-satire and long-form commitment. Some are silly, others are genuine time investments, but all are part of the larger narrative experiment that is Stanley’s bizarre journey.

Until next time—or ten years from now—happy achievement hunting!
