Welcome back, heroes of Excillant! If you’ve already mastered your jobs but want to push them into legendary status—or you’re just looking to level up like crazy—this guide is going to show you the fastest, most broken ways to farm JP in Bravely Default 2. With the help of Monster Medleys, Queen Wiki Wikis, and the right passive build, you can level jobs in literal seconds. Let’s dive into the full breakdown, bonus strategies, and where to find some of the most overpowered weapons in the game.

Step 1: Set Up for Maximum JP Efficiency

First and foremost, you’ll want to have Freelancer mastered or at least at level 12. Why?

  • JP Up (Level 9): Increases JP earned by 1.2x
  • JP Up and Up (Level 12): Increases JP earned by 1.5x
  • Total boost when combined1.7x, or +70% JP gain

Be aware: JP Up and Up uses two passive slots, but it’s well worth it when combined with JP Up.

Bonus Passives:

  • Bravebearer’s Obliterate: Instantly kills any enemy 20+ levels below your party at battle start. This allows you to skip trash mobs entirely.
  • Berserker’s Indiscriminate Rage: Hits all enemies at full power with basic attacks. Perfect for rapid farming.
  • Freelancer’s Body Slam: Deals damage based on weight (encumbrance). Use this to one-shot high-priority mobs like Queen Wiki Wikis.
  • Beastmaster’s Beast Whisperer: 30% chance to capture defeated monsters—great for Beastmaster leveling.

Step 2: Farm Monstrous Medley Monster Treats

You’ll need Monstrous Medley treats to initiate continuous battles against all types of monsters. These are found by farming a specific giant worm enemy in the graveyard south of Rimedhal. This monster is strong, so be cautious.

Once you’ve stocked up on Monstrous Medley, head to a high-yield dungeon. The best places are near a town with fast enemy spawn zones. Outside spoilers are avoided, but one such area features a snowy gate and leads into a high-density dungeon.

Step 3: Activate the Farming Loop

  1. Equip JP Up, JP Up and Up, and other farming passives.
  2. Go into Items > Monster Treats and activate Monstrous Medley.
  3. Now you’re irresistible—monsters will approach from all families.
  4. Wait until you get at least 2 enemies in an encounter.
  5. Initiate the battle.
  6. If you find Queen Wiki Wikis, use Body Slam from your heavy-equipped Freelancer to take them out.

Result? Up to 1,600 JP from a single Queen Wiki Wiki, and multiple class levels per fight. It’s possible to go from job level 12 to legendary in a single encounter.

Even without Bravebearer, you can make this work using Body Slam and Indiscriminate Rage.

Step 4: Alternate Dungeon Strategy (Rimedhal Path)

If you’re not yet deep in the story or don’t have Bravebearer:

  • Head to a dungeon in Rimedhal with high enemy density
  • Use the same passive setup: JP UpJP Up and UpBeast Whisperer, and Indiscriminate Rage
  • Activate Monstrous Medley
  • Target areas with 4+ enemy encounters

Even mid-level players can level up jobs fast here. For example:

  • Elvis goes from Bravebearer Level 1 to Level 9 in one battle
  • One more fight? He’s almost legendary

Step 5: Use Giant JP Orbs for Instant Mastery

Once you have JP Up and JP Up and Up equipped, you can maximize the value of Giant JP Orbs (3,000 JP each). When used on a character with the JP passives, each orb gives them 5,100 JP instantly.

That’s enough to:

  • Go from Job Level 1 to 13 (Legendary) in 3 orbs

Farm these orbs in certain endgame dungeons and portals (see below).
