Welcome back to another My Summer Car tutorial — in this guide, Victor walks us through how to install and use MSC Editor, one of the most powerful save-game editors for the game. This tool allows you to teleport lost items, repair your Satsuma instantly, manage keys, adjust in-game time, and so much more. If you want to master your My Summer Carexperience and fix bugs or experiment freely, MSC Editor is a must-have.

🧰 Step 1: Download MSC Editor

  1. Visit nexusmods.com (link usually found in the video description).
  2. On the MSC Editor mod page, go to the Files tab.
  3. Click Manual Download.
  4. Choose Slow Download unless you’re a premium Nexus user.

Once the .zip file is downloaded, extract it to a folder of your choice.

🛠️ Step 2: Launch MSC Editor

  1. Open the extracted folder.
  2. Choose between:
    • x64 folder for 32-bit Windows
    • x86 folder for 64-bit Windows

(Yes, it’s reversed from what you’d expect — double check!)

  1. Launch MSCEditor.exe.
  2. A prompt may offer a community guide — click “No Thanks” if you’re already familiar.

📂 Step 3: Load Your Save File

  1. Click Files > Open.
  2. Navigate through:
    • C: > Users > YourUsername > AppData > LocalLow
    • Select Amistech > My Summer Car
  3. Choose the file named defaultES2File — this is your main save file.

Once loaded, you’ll see a full editor menu with all save variables exposed.
