Noita is a game that relishes in chaos, mystery, and brutal difficulty. One of the reasons it stands out is that the game tells you almost nothing about how to survive—especially when it comes to healing. With countless ways to get hurt and only a handful of ways to recover, mastering healing is a huge step toward longer runs and more victories. This guide breaks down 16 healing methods into organized categories, ranging from perks and items to magic spells and rare mechanics.
1. Healing Through Perks
Some perks provide health regeneration or recovery in unique ways, but not all are equally viable.
1. No Wand Tinkering
A perk that completely disables wand editing, but makes enemies drop blood money which heals you. The trade-off is brutal—it’s not recommended unless your wand setup is already god-tier.
2. Vampirism
Reduces max health by 25%, but allows you to drink blood to recover. Stack it with More Blood and Iron Stomach for near-unlimited healing, though the process is slow.
3. Wand Experimenter
Heals you when firing a new wand, up to seven times per wand for diminishing returns. Good for early to mid-game if you frequently swap wands.
4. Trick Blood Money
Pairs perfectly with Trick Greed, generating healing blood money on accidental kills. Throwing physics objects like emerald tablets triggers this easily and reliably.
5. Healthy Explorer
The best early game healing perk. Gain 60 HP every time you enter a new biome. Combine this with saving holy mountain heals for later and you can extend your survival significantly.
2. Healing with Enemy Healers
Certain enemies can be manipulated into healing you, if you know how.
6. Heisi Healers
Spray them with pheromone to make them friendly. They’ll target you with healing bolts instead of enemies. Alternatively, stand between them and a burning or necromanced enemy to intercept the healing projectiles.
7. Repair Drones
Found in the Vault. They can’t be befriended, but with Telekinetic Kick, you can manually position them to heal you. Situational, but useful in tight spots.
3. Healing with Magical Liquids
Rare alchemical liquids can heal you directly, and even be made infinite with fungal shifting.
8. Helthium
Ultra-rare. Heals you when drunk. If found, use fungal shift to duplicate it before consuming.
9. Lively Concoction
More common and craftable by combining three seed-specific materials. Use online tools to check the recipe per seed.
10. Hearty Porridge
Granted when you take the Eat Your Vegetables perk. Provides healing when consumed, and can be fungal shifted for infinite use.
4. Healing Items
Consumables that offer healing—but are not renewable.
11. Cruel Orb
A blood money variant of the gold orb that appears with Curse of Greed. Risky and explosive, but can provide healing.
12. Refreshing Gourds
Found in a cave high on the western edge of the world. Break them to create healing fields similar to Circle of Vigor.
13. Kami
A throwable item that spawns a healing cabin with multiple healing bolts. Excellent for emergencies.
5. Healing Spells
With the right setup, healing spells can be made infinite for true god runs.
14. Healing Bolt
Fires a bolt that heals on contact. Can be reflected with boomerang or modified with Piercing to bypass Concentrated Spells damage. Use Greek letter spells to make it infinite. Alternatively, toss the wand to enemies for them to heal you accidentally.
15. Circle of Vigor
The best healing spell in the game. Heals over time while standing inside it. Combine with Spell Refreshers or loop with Greek letter spells to make it reusable indefinitely.
6. Full Heals and Secrets
Maximize full heals beyond holy mountains.
16. Full Heals
Besides the guaranteed holy mountain heals, one secret cave to the left of the Mines contains both a heal and health-up. It’s pitch-black, so bring either:
- Worm blood (grants night vision)
- Light spell modifier (on long-lasting spells like bubbles)
- All-Seeing Eye perk (note: the spell version does not work here)
Some minibosses also drop full heals. These can be reserved for critical moments later in your run when your healing setup might not be complete.
Final Thoughts
With these 16 methods, you can survive the harshest depths of Noita. Some methods are passive, some require clever trickery, and others demand alchemical finesse. But once you master them, you’ll drastically improve your consistency and survival.
If there are new methods added in future updates—or if you know of others—share them with the community. Until then, happy tripping, shifting, and healing!
